SAN TEODORO / BUDDITOGLIU
Our beautiful apartment is located in the ́oasis of Budditogliu, nestled between Budoni and San Teodoro just 35 kilometers from the port and airport of Olbia.
We like to call it an oasis because as soon as you enter the private property, where you can park your car, you are surrounded by bamboo canes, rosemary hedges, olive trees and plenty of space. A small stream bounds the perimeter of the parking.
From the car park, a small walkway leads to the apartment.
A unique key, which can be found in the box to the right of the gate, will allow you to open all the doors in the house.
In the court, which offers total Privacy, you will find the washing machine, a water tap, the water reserve cistern and, in case it is already ripe when you arrive, some grapes in two different qualities and absolutely organic. Enjoy it if you wish.
The little terrace is covered, it is really pleasant to seat here in the evening and enjoy the peace of the surrounding nature.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, easy to use and quiet. The cooktop is ceramic glass.
For safety reasons, we have choosen not to use gas.
If you love coffee, a Nespresso coffee machine is available.
The front door is equipped with a mosquito net, so in the evening you can leave the slats of the doors open to let the ́air in, without fear of some insect entering the house.
In Sardinia it is not uncommon to see curious little geckos that, attracted by the light, sometimes come to your terrace. They are small, harmless and very useful to nature as they feed on insects such as flies and mosquitoes.
Please respect them.
In the living room you will find a very comfortable sofa bed, television, closet and a small desk. An ideal place to rest after a beautiful day at the beach.
The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and the mattresses are orthopaedic for a good night's sleep. The bed is made with fresh sheets on arrival. The window overlooks the courtyard of the basement flat and is fitted with opaque glass to ensure complete privacy.
The bathroom has a window, and the shower stall is large and comfortable. Towels and a hair dryer are provided. On request we can provide beach towels, a beach bag and an Isotherm backpack with Freezpack. The bathroom door is equipped with a key. All sockets in the bathroom and the rest of the house are shuko type.
Pets allowed
We are a pet-loving family and they are welcome as long as they are well behaved and do not gnaw or damage the furniture.
Climbing on the bed or sofa is not allowed out of respect for other guests.
Only one pet is allowed and only by prior request.
The courtyard is completely fenced and secure. Here there is also a water tap with a shower where you can rinse off the sand and refresh your dog.
In Budoni there is a beautiful free beach for dogs. Unfortunately, nothing is offered for the animals at the beach, you can only bring them with you.
The road to get there is narrow and in some places two cars cannot pass. But you can do it!
Taking your dog to a beach that has not been specifically reserved for them is punishable by a very heavy fine.
Best not to risk it!
Some tips
For your grocery shopping, there is a well-stocked MD supermarket nearby.
For mountain hiking enthusiasts, just outside the entrance gate, the Aresula road takes you directly to Monte Nieddu Park. On your own or with expert guides from the Natura Viva center, you can explore a wonderful landscape. For German-speaking guests, one of the two owners, will be happy to assist personally.
In San Teodoro it is also possible to go horseback riding on the famous La Cinta beach.
Would you like to enjoy an aperitif accompanied by a rich board of Sardinian specialties? You can't miss going to La Cambusa: wine bar, delicatessen that offers the possibility of having breakfast, having an aperitif, snack, lunch or dinner, all in a refined location directly overlooking the small harbor.
Here you can also taste the typical Sardinian liqueur, Il Mirto.

If you want to dine at a restaurant that offers typical dishes at "normal" prices, try going to Il Colle restaurant.
The Spaghetti alla Bottarga is my favorite while my husband always gets a fish grill.

Do you like to go to the market? In San Teodoro at lú Licciu Street, 5 every Friday the weekly market takes place.
Here you can find both typical Sardinian groceries and beautiful clothing.
The market is only 4 kilometers from our Oasis.
In the evening do you want to take a walk in San Teodoro?
Every evening, in the central streets, many colorful stalls offer their products.
So many ice cream parlors in both Budoni and San Teodoro produce sensational ice creams.
And for lovers of speed?
In the hamlet of Agrustus, a stone's throw from Budoni you can find the track do Go Kart Jolly Park.
How to reach our and soon your oasis:
From several Ports from the Continent to Olbia or golfo Aranci there are several ferries that depart both in the morning and evening. (Livorno, Piombino, Civitavecchia, Genova...)
There are several companies such as Moby line, Corsica Ferry, Grimaldi.
Find the one that suits your needs best.
If you are flying, you can reach the nearby airport of Olbia.
Cars can be hired at the port and airport.

You don't really need to go to the Caribbean to find clear sea and beautiful beaches ...
Be sure to take a dinghy trip to the island of Tavolara. You will have the opportunity to see some wonderful beaches and swim in the pools of Molara. On this trip, bring breadsticks or crackers to crumble into the water while you swim. You will see how many fish will gather around you. A unique experience especially if you have a snorkeling mask.
How do you feel about having breakfast on a terrace just steps from the sea? Classic: Cappuccino and brioche with pistachio filling. Head to Cala d´Ambra beach and stop by the Hotel Esagono. The parking lots are free.
